Sophie and I were awake early, George eventually woke around 10:30! We got up and made a plan for the day – trip to the Hamilton gardens, into town for lunch and do some jobs.
Once George had got over the shock of the gardens being so popular (there was a quilting fair going on!) and we’d found a space and I’d found a coffee and a fairy biscuit (shortcake with pink icing, and smarties and 100s and thousands in the shortcake!!) we went into the actual gardens and they were amazing, they’re split into different themed garden areas. We spent ages there, looking around, taking photos and hiding from the rain!
This though is my favourite photo of all those we took – done on the timer and accidentally almost perfectly framed!
We went to a place called CBD for lunch – amazing $10 for an awesome burger!
Restored we headed to Warehouse Stationary, Warehouse and Noel Leeming – living the dream my friends!
Jobs done we headed back to George’s for a sit before heading back into town for the night!
First stop was Little George, then dinner at Mexico, before more drinks at the Wonder Horse bar – great place but randomly full of people dressed in white
