WillPower and Grace

So, I arrived super early for my session in the gym tonight – so hot/humid here I thought I’d take advantage for the air con in the gym to cool down before the class!

The class WillPower and Grace lasted for 40mins and we used the 40mins to the max!

We all did the class barefooted and good grief did it make me sweat?!

The warm up involved some work on the toes and trying to isolate each toe, especially the little and big toes, the working on the arches, before we finally hit the legs – lots of squats and lunges were involved with lots of opportunities for individual progression.

The fun thing was that Nerys from the chi running club was also involved in this session so we got to have a good natter about it afterwards – I think the general concensus was that it was a fun class, kind of like a cardio class but in barefeet!
